I mentioned it on X the other day but Ron Jackson is and will always be in the domain investing Hall of Fame. He has been our historian for 23 years. Documenting sales, events, and industry milestones around the globe in a way only a professional journalist can.
We all have photos and memories but Ron has eternalized them on DNJournal. He adds personality to the sales tracking. We have Namebio, created by Adam Strong, which is a fantastic resource, but Ron’s stories bring the data to life. His weekly reports are more than numbers. They are snapshots of our industry.
I never take for granted how much work he puts in. He travels to events, takes the photos, and writes the stories. He has done that for more than two decades. The bonus is he’s one of the nicest people in the industry. Never a bad word. Always positive.
He was one of the first people I met at a conference and his kindness was immediate. One greeting wiped away the awkwardness of being new. He made the room feel smaller and more welcoming. He is one of the reasons I am here.
