Shane's Domain Auction Picks for Wednesday November 26th

Every day I get reminders of how many good people are out there and how many aren’t. Yesterday was one of the good ones.

I saw a couple packages on the porch and asked my wife if she ordered anything. She hadn’t. Inside one of them were two beautiful garden shears and a note from a new friend named Bryan. He thanked me for helping him with a domain and said he loved his shears so much he thought I’d enjoy a pair. I spent maybe five minutes with him and he still took the time and money to send a gift. The shears were great, but the note meant just as much. They say you never forget how someone made you feel and that little surprise made my day. I read it to my wife and it honestly made me feel special. Not many people get something thoughtful out of the blue.

The other package was a book from a reader who thought I’d enjoy it. We don’t get many comments on the site but my inbox stays full of kind notes from readers. Gestures like these are what keep me posting after 16 years. And I couldn’t do any of this without Travis. Best partner you could ask for. But a pat on the back or a gift out of the blue goes a long way.

Oh what about the bad people? Keeping this positive. They are best ignored
